Survey Shackâs Rating System
Your guided inspection methodically assesses the condition of key elements of the main building, gauging the urgency of maintenance or repairs required, the potential cost implications, and the need for further investigation, all of which are detailed in the final report.
Red Status
Urgent Action or Further Investigation Required
This status identifies serious defects, potential safety concerns or unresolved issues requiring urgent repair, specialist investigation or other prompt action. Delaying action may increase the risk of injury, further damage or substantial repair costs.
Purple Status
Further Information or Evidence Required
This status identifies elements that could not be fully assessed because information, evidence, access or confirmation was unavailable. The issue may not be urgent, but uncertainty should be resolved promptly where its potential significance could affect safety, condition, cost or a decision to proceed.
Yellow Status
Maintenance, Repair or Replacement Likely
This status identifies elements that are ageing, deteriorating or have known issues that are likely to require increased maintenance, repair or replacement. They may not require urgent attention, but the likely practical and cost implications should be considered.
Green Status
No Current Issues, Routine Maintenance Required
This status identifies elements that appear to be in satisfactory condition, with no current repair needs identified from the available information. Routine maintenance and monitoring will help preserve their condition and performance.
Reports
Once your inspection is complete, the app instantly generates a free actionable Condition Report on the overall condition of the property based on your answers, and sends it directly to your device and email, complete with actionable guidance.
