Q: How did you get on with using the app – was it an easy experience?

A: Very easy! The prompts and visual cues guided me step-by-step. I familiarised myself with the app one day before, going through the questions, as mock test.

Q:  Did you complete the inspection in one go or pause and come back to it, and how long did it take?

A: Completed the inspection in about 45 minutes.

Q: Did you use any tools e.g. binoculars?

A: I used only my phone. I also brought along a simple moisture meter. It is an inexpensive add-on that confirmed my damp suspicions, but it was by no means essential.

Q: How helpful was the instant report, and did it highlight anything you had not noticed yourself?

A: Extremely helpful — it confirmed the damp issue I suspected. The best bit was the instant, tailored guidance! It turned my inspection answers into a comprehensive report with clear condition ratings so I could see at a glance what was low, medium, or high priority.

A: Book a longer slot (at least an hour) and let the agent know you will be taking detailed notes/photos. I also sent seller questions in advance using the app prompts.
